During the summer of 2009 my mom and I were running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to prepare me for my first semester at Indiana State University. I felt “all grown up” and was so ready to leave my mother’s house that I refused to believe the transition to college could be anything but easy. Well I was dead wrong!
